Lauren is a portrait, travel, and brand photographer, native to Appalachia and based in Virginia. Her work has been featured with CNN and Associated Press, and has been internationally published in the Monocle Guide to Eating and Drinking for her award-winning work with J.Q. Dickinson Saltworks.
Her passion is connecting arts and hospitality through her artwork and gatherings. She founded and directed a home for artists in Charlottesville, VA, The Farm House, hosting community events, collaborating with local and regional artists, while offering shared studio spaces and artistic mentorships. She received an Arts and Community Development Grant with a focus on Historic and Cultural Preservation and Community Engagement from Virginia Humanities State Arts Council in 2021.
